I am Swedish and currently working and living in London. I have been living and travelling abroad since 2013 around most corners of the world. Destinations have included New Zealand (my absolute favourite!), Australia, South East Asia, Europe and parts of the US, where I have taken the opportunity to take on any challenge and adventure offered! These include scuba diving, free diving, dairy farming, sheep herding, bungy- and cliff-jumping, sky diving, canyon swinging, mountain biking, snowboarding and road-tripping.

I am now settled in London to a much less adventurous life style where I work in an office as a PA, and will be starting my Bachelor degree in Kalmar, Sweden.

I love travelling, going to the gym and going for cheeky after-work drinks.

I love the idea of taking the opportunity to get to know locals in the places I go, as opposed to checking in to hotels and getting tips of what to do from Google.

Interessen

I am an active girl who is always up for a challenge. Just 'lagom' (Swedish for not-too-much-and-not-too-little) competitive and adventurous, I love making new friends from various cultures and backgrounds. I think it is healthy to get out of your comfort zone and stay open-minded and physically get out and about to explore new experiences.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I don't like labelling things 'my favourite', but I am a massive fan of Bruce Springsteen, James Bay and Gerry Cinnamon. Guys with guitars, I suppose is a solid music choice for me.

The best decision of my life was when I was halfway through my expected stay in New Zealand (my first backpacking trip, all by myself) to call my job in Sweden and quit. I had got 8 months off work to travel before I was planning on coming back to Sweden, but 4 months in I had some sort of epiphany/panic attack and decided that I would only be happy if I seized the opportunity to keep travelling when I could.

Crazy stories from travels and work experiences. I often 'wow' people, and I have to warn you, I worked in a hospital before so I lack the filter to details many of my friends need....

I also work on setting new PB's for making Swedish sticky cake. The fastest I have made one is 23 min (including oven time) and it was YUMMY! If you ask, I will not turn down an opportunity to practice this!
