About Me
Hello!
I'm a college student in Pennsylvania, but I was born and raised in Montana. I'm currently studying global health, biology, and Spanish. My main hobbies include hiking and backpacking, knitting, reading, and of course, meeting new people.
As I mentioned above, I'm trying to become fluent in Spanish and welcome any opportunities to practice (or if you speak another language I'd be happy to learn a little bit of that too!) Since I'm from a pretty rugged place, I'm also quite passionate about the outdoors and public lands advocacy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some of the most rewarding experiences and conversations I've had have been a result of talking to strangers from different parts of the U.S. and the world. I've also come to the conclusion that one of the best ways to travel is to experience a place through the eyes of its locals rather than tourists. Couchsurfing seems like a way to share my knowledge about my community and to learn about other folks' while I'm at it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During high school, I worked as a page for a senator in Montana in Washington, D.C. for a semester and had the opportunity to meet a variety of moderately famous politicians.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a pretty curious person naturally, and if someone is passionate about something I'm happy to hear them discuss it. That being said, I have a particular interest in community health and vaccines, as well as latin american cultures and Spanish.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I worked at a bakery for a while, so I'd be happy to bake or cook a meal.
