Hello! I am a Canadian/American, based in Rochester, Minnesota but currently a little bit all over the place. I am new on couchsurfing but excited to start meeting new people and places :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I was recently travelling with a group of friends, and some of us stayed in Airbnbs and hostels while a few of the others stayed with couchsurfing hosts. I think the experiences are really incomparable...the best memories during travels come from meeting people and learning about their cultures and experiences, not from taking pictures of monuments and important buildings. I want to get involved with couchsurfing so that I, too, can be part of this really cool community of sharing and exchanging.

Right now my living situation does not allow me to host guests, but I hope that in the future I will be able to open my home and pay forward all of the kindness shown to me from couchsurfing hosts...and more :)

兴趣

Sports - anything outdoors, especially biking, running, hiking, skating, and soccer, but I love anything where I can be active and/or play.

The natural world is amazing and I love to explore and learn about it - especially birds, snakes, and snails, my favourite animal!

I also love to dance, I know a bit of salsa, bachata and swing, but I will dance anywhere and at any time... :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Once I went on an overnight hike in Tennessee for almost 60km. We left at 4 pm, watched the sunset from one mountain top, walked all night, and watched the sun rise from another peak. I was exhausted the next day, but it was an amazing experience!

Teach: Practicing English or French. How to identify birds of Tennessee by sound, or make rock paint. Some basic dance steps.

Learn: Anything and everything. I love to learn about languages and cultures, history, personal philosophies, and the natural world!

Share: A meal of curry or stir-fry (I used to work in a Chinese restaurant), a good conversation (preferably with some wine), and an invitation to stay with me wherever I am in the world if you're ever in the vicinity!
