Overview
About Me
I grew up in Finland and am currently studying in the UK. I have lived in France for almost a year when I was 16. I love the outdoors and nothing calms me down like a long day out in the nature (or a good yoga session).
Also, I really love tea.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet new people when I'm travelling and stay with locals rather than in hostels. I'm always up for an interesting conversation and hearing people's life stories.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a whole range of music, but some of my favorites are The National, Arcade Fire, Tame Impala, Patti Smith and pretty much anything from the 80's.
My favourite film is Lost in Translation. I also love Studio Ghibli films and enjoy any 80's teen flick.
There's too many books to name, but Sinuhe the Egyptian by Mika Waltari, Just Kids by Patti Smith and Jussi Valtonen's They Know Not What They Do are some of the more recent amazing reads.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed Piz Bernina, a 4000 m peak in the Alps.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a few languages, how to make a headstand and how to make Finnish blueberry pie. I'd love to learn about your culture and maybe a nice simple recipe or two.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to have dinner with my hosts (if they're not too busy) and maybe even make my very popular avocado pasta!
