Helloooo, my name is Emma.

I am pretty new to Couchsurfing as of this year. I have been traveling for the majority of 2019 through Europe and got the opportunity to meet and stay with many wonderful people through my journey. I shared a Couchsurfing account for the past year with my best friend Maïa, but since we are not traveling together anymore, I decided to create my own separate account. I'm an artist! (currently getting an undergrad degree at NSCAD University for fine arts) and trying to travel as much as I can during my breaks in school. Last year I lived in France for six months and then backpacked for four. I love good conversation but I also love a little quiet time here and there. I am always cooking, my style is kind of just throwing some things in a pan, and hoping it turns out alright. So that being said I would absolutely love to cook for or with anyone I stay with/ stays with me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm excited to meet fellow travelers and creative people, accommodate some travelers in Halifax and hopefully be accommodated as well!

I've had so many amazing experiences using Couchsurfing and I just want more! Visiting a new culture and actually getting to know it's community members is an entirely different experience and a way to truly absorb a culture.
