Hola, I'm Emma! I'm currently at university in the UK studying International Business with Spanish, however my level of Spanish is no where near where I would like it to be! I spent 8 months in Ecuador in 2014/15 when I was 18 which is where I fell in love with Latin American culture, and started to learn Spanish. I'm enthusiastic, determined, and keen to learn knew things to gain different perspectives. My friends unanimously say that I'm sassy too, so I guess I have to include that! But generally I'm just an easy going person that likes to have a good time with lots of laughs.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I will be travelling to Colombia and down into Ecuador this summer, and having met a host previously, I hope to be able to meet more locals through couchsurfing. I spent much of my time in Ecuador living with host families, therefore learnt that it is definitely the best way to see a country. In my opinion it's the people you meet not the places you visit that make travel, so I hope to meet some amazing people through couchsurfing!

Music: My music taste is very varied, but a good 60% of my spotify is now made up of Hispanic music!

Movies: I don't watch many movies as I am addicted to documentaries instead, about most things but specifically investigative journalism pieces such as channel 4's 'Unreported World'. However there is one film that springs to mind that I watched fairly recently and throughly enjoyed; También la lluvia.

Books: I rarely read books unfortunately, instead I read newspapers and online news articles.
