About Me

Writing a description about yourself is easier said then done (it feels really corny somehow) but I guess I'll try to give you the basic details :)

My name is Emma, I was born and raised in Sweden and consider myself Swedish although my parents are from Chile and Norway. They are both backpackers and I've been blessed with the opportunity to visit the weirdest places, meet the craziest people and taste ridiculous food all my life amd somewhere along the road I caught the travel bug myself. After high school I decided to take a couple of years off before uni to travel, live in different cities and learn new languages.

Sing bad but loud, eat too much, dance like no-one's watching, laugh til you can't stand the pain, then laugh some more, love like you've never been hurt before, fill your nights with drunken skinny dipping sessions, tell your friends you love them too much, care too much but don't really, never stop searching for knowledge, try to leave your house in jammies as much as possible, throw rocks and scream for echos when at top of a mountain.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

Since I'm travelling right now, my participation is limited to surfing.

Moscow, Paris and Hong Kong, all of them wonderful in their own way. Great way to get to know the place in other ways then what Lonely Planet recommends you doing and the break from the usual gettingdrunkathostel hangout.

Wow... where do I start? I'm a really passionate person, which is both good and bad sometimes. I hate or love everything and laugh really loud and hard. Love exchanging music, dancing, traveling, meeting new people, politics, art, literature, writing, history. CLIMBING. Trying to figure out how its all connected and my place in it.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Ran with the bulls in Pamplona!

Climbing Mount Emei, a Buddhist mountain in China was pretty awesome.
