ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Emma! I've known for quite some time that I've wanted to settle semi-permanently in an unfamiliar Spanish speaking country for quite some time, and finally made the jump to do just that! My current plan is to get by with a job teaching English in Mexico City while exploring the city/country/myself. I like to think I'm a pretty cool lady (my friends seem to think so, anyway) and I'll be looking to meet cool people and what not as I settle into a new city... So yea!

Hola! Soy Emma. He sabido por mucho tiempo que he querido establecerme semi-permanentemente en un pais desconosido por un tiempo, y finalmente lo estoy haciendo! Mi plan es arreglarme con un puesto enseñando ingles en el DF mientras exploro la ciudad, y el país, aprendiendo cosas de mi misma por el camino. Pienso que soy una chica bastante buena onda (eso piensan mis amigos, por lo menos!) y me gustaria conocer a gente interesante mientras me establezco en una ciudad nueva... ok!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couchsurfing experience has been limited but very positive. While traveling through Europe a friend and I stayed with a lovely man who let us stay with him for three days longer than expected when our following couchsurfing arrangement fell through. Other than that I hung out with a lady in Athens who I met through couchsurfing for an afternoon and she showed me a part of the city that I would not have visited otherwise, which was awesome!
