-------- Hello everybody!

We are Emma and Paul, two friendly people from the south of germany. Nice to meet you :).

For the last five years we’ve been living in Freiburg and as we both finished our studies (social work), we want to dare the next step to find our place in the world and find out, what we want to do in life. Therefore we quit our flat and our jobs and are now packing our big backpacks to go out in the world and travel.

We're normally looking for a place for two people. We are very open and always really happy to meet new people and learn about other cultures. Also we are very clean guests ☺.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

While traveling we met so many kind and friendly people, that gave us shelter when we were in need. Now it's time to give something back! We want to give people a place to sleep, when they need it for whatever reasons.
Beside this kind of philosophical standpoint, couchsurfing is just a fun and useful thing to do, where everybody can benefit from! From having a cheap place to stay, to meeting the most interesting and inspiring people.

兴趣

In general our goal ist to explore different types of communities and to find a living-concept, that works for us. Also we would really like to learn more about permaculture and farming. The last few years we spent a lot of time using our brains in university and city life, so now we would really like to start using our hands more often as we notice that physical and creative work is something we both are missing in our current lifes.

But we also really enjoy going out for concerts, for drinking coffee or dancing ☺

We basically listen to all kinds of music no matter the genre. From Jazz to Folk to All different kinds of electronic music.
In general we music plays an important part in our lives ☺

- Camino de Santiago
- Hitchhike trip through Germany, Belgium and France in the middle of February freezing to death most at the time :D
- Roadtrip through California visiting cool stuff (Echo Park Rising Festival, many many nationalparks)
- Hitchhike trip through Poland, the Baltics up to Finnland, to Sweden and all the way down again
