Join Couchsurfing to see Emma’s full profile. It’s free!
after all my years of perpetually working and studying, I'm taking some time to wander. over the next few months I'll be driving slowly up the West Coast, from San Francisco to Vancouver and then back to the Midwest. I'm hoping to follow the roads less traveled, meet a plethora of great folks and critters, have a beautiful time.
i dance, i read, i farm, i ponder, i eat, i stroll, i drink, i ask, i listen, i move, i feel real good.
I'd like to live somewhere between my happy medium and a little too much. Teach me something I have to work at.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Intimacies of a city, shared transnationally. My favorite way to get to know a place is with those who love it!
While couchsurfing is "free," I'm not interested in people who use it just for that. I believe we have a social responsibility to engage with one another, learning to respect and love each others cultures. I am more willing to host those who make it apparent that they care about who they are with and where they are.
dance & choreography, biking, somatic moving & healing, sweet potatoes, fermented foods, queer theory, bright furniture.
Music, Movies, and Books
Milan Kundera, David Foster Wallace, Big Thief, Talking Heads, Arcade Fire, Joanna Newsom, The Smiths, Michel Gondry, Death Cab for Cutie, Clarice Lispector.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll teach you to move (your body, and probably help with your bags too).
