Hi everyone! I'm Emma - I'm traveling around Europe for about 4-5 months (maybe longer)!

Back at home I work in admin at a university, and in my spare time I love to do pottery, swim, go on picnics and nature walks. I love music, singing and playing the ukulele (though am still quite shy about it!) and definitely love movies. I love learning new languages and about new cultures. I speak English, Finnish and Spanish, and have a bit of a background in Swedish and French. I'm always up for learning new things! 

I have been lucky enough to travel a lot in my life; coming from a multicultural family, travel has always been a part of our lives, and I've had the support and encouragement to go out and see the world on my own! I have travelled in Europe, as well as South America and shorter trips to Morocco, Ghana (worked at an orphanage and school), Bali and Thailand. 

I love the idea of getting to know a town/city by living local, and believe that there is so much to gain by hosting and couchsurfing.

I'm on couchsurfing to meet up with new people and hangout in interesting new places. Locals have a wealth of knowledge about their hometown and country, and it's always rewarding to share each others experiences in the world.

I visited Tayrona National Park in Colombia, and hiked alone. Really rewarding and fulfilling!
