Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Looking to host 1-2 people at a time, no longer than 3 days as the house while big could get a bit crowded!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No official experience but I lived on a couch for a few months in San Fran. Good times! Hopefully more to follow when adventures start up for real.

Interests

Art, reading, hanging out with friends, music, fluffy things, swimming, the great outdoors. I love beaches, chatting, cards, and hiking. I also lift heavy things, which is awesome and you should try it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: yes, good movies are great but I also love terrible kung fu/action/adventure types. Think Cliffhanger.
Music: I'll get in to just about any sound after a while
Books: As long as it's well written and interesting!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kayaking with a boxload of fresh-hatched baby turtles balanced on my knees to get them to their native beach at about 2am under a full moon. I tipped them onto the sand and they all ran straight to the sea like crazy things!

Happy to advise anyone on great places to go in NZ (as long as you're an outdoors type... I'm not so good at where to go in cities because I'd rather be on a beach)
