I love to meet people from all around the world and learn/speak foreign languages.
When I'm abroad I'm keen on visiting cities, museums and so on... but most important for me is enjoying good food, good wine and chatting with people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I'm visiting a country I wanna meet locals and not only be a "tourist" who doesn't get to discover the "way of life" of the country I'm staying in.
Never used CS (although I'm a member since 2003) but looking forward to!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into rock music (the White Stripes, NIN, Disturbed...).
My favourite movies are "La strada" of Fellini, "Talk to her" of Almodovar and "Battle Royale"of Kinji Fukasaku. As a German teacher I know movies like "Good Bye Lenin!", "The lives of the others" or "The wave" almost by heart .
I also like US comedies like "Bridemaids", "The Heat" or "The Hangover" (and I'm not ashamed about it).
My favourite books are "Madame Bovary" of Flaubert and "the Reader" of Bernhard Schlink
