Hey, I am Emmalee! Originally from Montreal but have been living in Vancouver for a few years now and slowly working my way through a degree in sustainable agriculture.
I am most passionate about the intersections of food, culture and the environment.

I consider myself both and city and a country mouse all mixed into one! I am someone who loves to go on outdoor adventures, camping, hikes, long bike rides, paddling etc. I love farming, and rural communities, I love wild plants and learning about local ecosystems. I am also such a city person through and through; I enjoy some nightlife, art events and museums. I love the food and cultural diversity of many cities. I love hitting up small concerts at local venues, wandering busy streets, hanging out coffee shops, people watching etc.

I am on Couchsurfing because during my own travels, the local people I have connected with, are what made my trips more beautiful and interesting than anything else. I'd love the chance to be able to do that for others!
