About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to live the French lifestyle, la vie à la française!

ABOUT ME

I'm a very friendly person that loves meeting new and interesting people! I love the United States, but a big part of my heart lives in Europe, specifically France. I like to cook but mostly I just really love food and trying all kinds of new things. Traveling is one of the greatest things in life, and I try to do it often and see as much of the beautiful world as I can.

Interests

I love learning new things about foreign cultures, learning about history, and eating food! I have been a musician for my whole life so listening to music as well as playing it and going to concerts is one of my biggest hobbies. I love drinking wine and eating chocolate - those activities take up a lot of my time.

But for the most part, I work at the Université de Bretagne Occidentale (in Brest and Quimper) as an English Teaching Assistant, helping and encouraging French students to improve their comprehension and spoken English.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best things I ever did was to swim under a waterfall in the El Junque Rainforest outside of San Juan, Puerto Rico! It was so beautiful and the perfectly clear water was very refreshing.

The second coolest thing was to live in Vienna, Austria, for a month to take a class about Austrian Music History and tour with my Symphony Orchestra. We went to 6 operas and 3 orchestra concerts during that month, and got to visit countless museums about history and composers.

Also, I lived in Paris for 5 months to "study abroad" when I was 20-21. Being in Paris for the springtime at that age makes me feel so lucky to have taken that opportunity! Paris takes up a large part of my heart.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bahamas, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States
