Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm currently studying abroad in Rome and traveling most weekends. For a college student it's hard to fun this much world exploring. Couchsurfers seems like like the perfect solution to overpriced hotels. One of the biggest mistakes of travel is not meeting locals and Couchsurfers brings you directly to them, which makes for a way more authentic experience than a hotel would provide..

Intereses

All around intellect, just love absorbing knowledge from others through conversation, ideas and humor. I play a bunch of sport, no necessarily well though. I love to read and I love my computer for reddit, tumblr and youtube but I've been attempting to cut down on my use. I'm usually up for anything and rarely disappointed. I'm also a vegan, but I won't be rude if you offer me some non-vegan food, I'll likely try it anyway. My curiosity is usually stronger than my goals.

Music: I love it all, I know everyone says that but I really do.
Favorites are Billy Joel, James Taylor, Vampire Weekend, Taylor Swift, Gorillaz, Bob Dylan, Kacey MusGraves... and the list goes on.

I really love standup comedy and youtube: Bo Burnham, Louis CK, John Mulaney...

Self- proclaimed movie hater, I don't know what is? The 1 1/2-2 hour format, the predictable story arc, my ability to sit still and focus that long... either way I'm not a fan.
But hey, I can watch it, just have a pillow ready if I fall asleep.

Books are great. Currently The Elegant Universe by Brian Green but I'm not always so smart, I love teen books and self help and string theory books alike.

That my parents meet out of all the people in the world, feel in love (which they deny these days), that the combination of my mother's egg and my father's sperm was genetically specific to me, and all the times this happened previous in my families linage going back hundreds of generations that aligned to make up my exact genetic makeup. And from that I was born a healthy baby and grew to be 21 years old without a hitch ;)

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I'm an excellent guest, I've been known to stretch myself too thin for others, which is horrible for my overall self care, but great for a host! I can clean, and make vegan food, or play with your kids while you relax. I really love talking to people and finding out all their quirks and interesting ideas about the world. Am always ready to learn something new.
