About Me

Hi, I'm a french guy who grow up in Paris and moved to Bordeaux.
I love theatre even more than movies, sea surfing even more than couch surfing, and wine even more than beer. I think the two latter points explain why I recently moved to Bordeaux.
During the day I'm an engineer, and at night, if you give me food after midnight, well I turn into a sloth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet new people from everywhere in the world, here in Bordeaux as well as when I'm travelling. I think it's the best way to open my mind, share, have fun...

Music, Movies, and Books

Radiohead, Manu Chao, Caravan Palace are some of my favourite bands.
Brazil, Once upon a time in the west, Les enfants du Paradis my favorite movies.
Shantaram, Crime and Punishment, The Count of Monte-Cristo some of my favourite books...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day, in Syria, my friend and I just needed a taxi. Our taxi driver happened to be Maher, a guy of our age, barely speaking english, and with a totally different life than us... We spent the following 48 hours with him, met his friends and family, and got invited into the hidden side of Syria...

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to teach some surf, some french recipes, maybe how to fish as I'm quite an expert on this topic (just missing some pupils)!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd be happy to host some eclectic people from all around the world, in particular from the most unexpected places. I'd also be glad to leave people alone if they wish so, as travelling intensely is somehow exhausting...
