ABOUT ME

Hej hej :) my name is Emma & I'm an exchange student living in Aarhus (Denmark). I was born and grew up in Sydney, Australia, but now I am in Denmark to study, meet amazing new people, and explore as much of Europe as I can in 2016! I study a strange mixture of sound design and law, and while that may seem like a crazy combination it keep my mind constantly entertained and intellectually stimulated. My bucket list for Europe is a mile long but hopefully you can help show me more by hosting me in your town, and satisfying my curiosity. I love to explore and be taught new skills, and have a passion for working with nature. While living in a city is exciting in itself, it is the countryside which most excites my mind. Looking forward to meeting some of you soon!

Travel on any free weekend I've got, and host when I can. Always up for showing people around the city!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only surfed in Europe, but since I've been hear I've heard stories of the amazing places people have surfed in Australia. I must one day do this myself! So far I've been hosted by amazing people in Europe. The Italians <3

Interessen

Aside from being a full-time student, I love to play, compose & listen to music, cook, and any money I save up goes straight to travel, whether that be going for a drive down the coast, or a cheap flight to asia. I love meeting new people, experiencing different cultures & being challenged.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

MUSIC - I love it all! Jazz, deep house techno, classical, rock, I can talk and share for hours on it all. Complete sucker for a beautiful piano piece I can go away and learn later. My mind is never so excitable as when I'm working on a piece of music.
Some personal favourites include... Chick Corea, Debussy, Sufjan Stevens, Youandewan, Darkside, Aphex Twin, Tycho, Luke Abbott, Tame Impala, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Radiohead, The Cure, Kaki King, Air, Bonobo, RJD2, Four Tet, Bjork, Thomas Newman...so many choices I struggle to cull them down into a few choices

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Best trip to date has been a 5 trek up in Sapa, Vietnam. The surrounding were incredibly beautiful, and the people I stayed with so hospitable.
