About Me

CURRENT MISSION

learning as much in as many different ways from as many different people in as many different places as possible

ABOUT ME

my favorite color is orange. i love peaches and swingsets and bad jokes. i want to become fluent in german and then maybe portuguese. someday when i grow up i want to be a writer, and a union organizer, and an all-around badass but i'm not sure when that whole "growing up" thing is going to happen. i love poetry and magical realism. i cook. i bake. i eat. i am obsessed with meeting new people in new places and trying new things. my biggest fear is being a boring human being. i want to save the world and i think i just might. i don't have a car and so tend to end up walking just about everywhere.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have only "officially" couchsurfed once but i grew up in a home with very open doors where many people came to stay for many different reasons--some friends, some family, some strangers. i've slept on quite a few couches and extra beds in my time, and i love the opportunity to meet new people and get out of my comfort zone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to an Ossuary in Kutna Hora, CZ-- a church decorated entirely with human bones. I am not a religious person, but it was the most sacred place I have ever been, and I was amazed.
