HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've done some surfing and some hosting. In my current hometown, San Jose, California (just south of San Francisco) I haven't been super active in the couchsurfing community. But, I'm meandering across the globe again, so I'm looking to reactivate!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed couches in and around Paris, Belfast, and a couch in Sicily. Met some amazing people and had a terrific time of it.

I've hosted several surfers at my parents' house. I think the biggest group we had was 8 international students road tripping over their spring break! What a riot!

Music: The list goes on FOREVER and constantly grows. Pretty consistently on it are Radiohead, The National, anything country or folk, and honeyhoney, for starters.

Movies:
I like to escape when I go to the movies or watch TV. LOVE super hero movies and fairy tales. I can definitely appreciate a good indie or arthouse flick from time to time too.

Books:
Varies - lately I've really been enjoying memoirs. Little Women is one of my all-time favorites, I've read it several times. I ALWAYS have a book on hand/in-progress.

I can try to teach you to sing...or to make almost perfect guten free pasta...or to dance around the room wildly while (badly) singing your favorite songs.

I also make an awesome PB&J. I'm willing to teach you so you can experience the awesomeness that it is all the time.

I'd love to learn the ukelele. Next on my list.
