Hello!

My name is Emmelie, I'm from the Netherlands, but have lived and traveled in many places. I finished my studies in Organic Agriculture in The Netherlands a few years ago and have been living in Brazil ever since. Here I work with agroforestry systems in Presidente Prudente, where I have started a farm together with my partner Andre.

Now I am working with consultancy and courses in agroforestry. I love to travel to explore new places, people and cultures. I especially enjoy spending time in beautiful natural environments be it forests, beaches or mountains.

Climbing Kilimanjaro was an amazingly beautiful experience going up going through a complete different vegetation and scenery every day from humid rainforest to barren moon like landscapes, learning swahili songs on the way, zombie like freezing, exhausted nausea on the last ascent to be met with a glorious sunrise stretching over the African plains.. The banana cheese tomato tosti's upon reaching basecamp again were the best I've ever had.
