ABOUT ME

I'm from York and I like it so much I've come back to live here after spending a couple of years roaming, mostly in Australia and south-east Asia. I've been back a while now and live on a lovely houseboat just outside the city.
I'm easy-going, friendly, enjoy cups of tea, sharing a joke, cracking a grin, that kind of thing.

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS years ago but never actually did anything with it. I've finally decided it's about time I got involved. I'm happy to host in return for karma points :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any official ones yet although I have couchsurfed in my own way meeting strangers through mutual friends or hitchhiking who have been kind enough to put me up or vice versa. Looking forward to meeting people and getting involved with the CS community.

Well I like both kinds of music - country AND western. Just joking although I'm not adversed to it. I enjoy a wide range of music, books and cinematic treats and there are far far too many to possibly pick favourites :)

Hitchhiking round Australia, lounging and snorkelling n tropical islands, attending underground parties in Hanoi to name a few. The best experiences are always the ones I don't expect that are too complicated to explain on a website but if I meet you then I can assure you I've always got a tale to tell.

Well I can knit so if anyone wants to learn that, no problem. I can also play the piano but I don't have one where I live at the moment as there's not enough room.;)

I enjoy learning new languages and would love to be able to crochet but no one's ever succeeded in teaching me yet as I appear to be naturally terrible at it.
