Hello! My name is Emmy and I am from the United States. I am currently studying at Korea University in Seoul, with a intended degree in mechanical engineering and concentration in renewable energy. I would love to find other people on this site to hangout with while travelling (I will be in South Korea until December and then Thailand in late December to mid January). If I could meet locals (or other travelers) on here and get to know about their country, that would be awesome. Also, when backpacking in Thailand for a few weeks, I would be open to staying at someones house and getting to know them and their culture.

I love all different genres of music including indie, rap, rock, alternative, latin american, and edm. I like all genres of movies except scary movies, but my all time favorite is comedy. I do not read all too many books (disappointing, I know) but I do like to read and write poetry.

I think leaving my home and going to school half way across the world not knowing anyone is pretty amazing. Oh, and once I guessed the correct number of jelly beans in a bowl.
