ABOUT ME

I grew up in a very small town (300 people) on a farm, with tons of animals and very hippy parents. I was homeschooled until middle school and loved it. Graduated from York Univ. with a bachelor of Sc. in kinesiology. I tried working as a kinesiologist for a year but felt out of place and decided to come to Korea to teach (what better way to travel and gain experience??) I fell in love with SK, the food, the people, teaching, always meeting new people from all over. I love food, smelling it, cooking it, seeing it, and especially enjoying it with friends. I'm not afraid of trying new things and love adventure!! I've always been active and love a healthy lifestyle but certainly not afraid of indulging every now and then. I am super close to my family and love spending time with them, doing anything! Listening to my very musically talented brother play almost any instrument is great... love live music.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to always be wanting something, if you want it, go for it. I think it's SO important to not be afraid to put yourself in uncomfortable situations and try new things. Try everything once. Also, everything in moderation...

I couch surfed on a short trip to China 5 years ago and had a fantastic experience and would love to get back on the CS wagon :)

I love most sports, badminton is my specialty!! I love to cook, bake, read and most of all travel and ADVENTURE!!

I think the most amazing thing I've done is go to Korea to teach english. While I was there I was able to see and learn a lot of Korean history and learn so much about that culture.

I am a pretty good baker, have been baking since I was about 8 years old. I am a qualified personal trainer and can give great therapeutic massages. I would love to learn to latin dance, or anything really...
