About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet people, culture, and traditions that continually challenge my thought processes.

ABOUT ME
(Old-ish profile, but still quite the dirt-bag dharma bum....well, as much as a suited up, DC 9-5er can be)

Howdy. I'm a New York native that somehow found myself in the heart of gun-toting Southern US. I'm currently taking the summer to explore the U.S. before I leave its beautiful land to study abroad in Ireland. Just me, my car, and my pack (and some freeze-dried foods....which you are totally welcomed too). Not bad for a former southern debutante, eh? (Please, try not to hold it against me). I think the literature that a person takes with them on an epic road trip tells you a lot of about them. So...I brought:

Kerouac-Dharma Bums (for non-hitting-the-town nights)
Stoppard- Ros and Guil are Dead (for when I want milk to fly out of my nose from laughing so hard)
Albee- Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf (uhhh.. in a playwriting phase)
Dostoy- Brothers Karamazov (for when I'm feeling ready to get it on with Dostoevsky.
Lonesome Dove (for the mountains, reading by starlight, ready to be transported to another world)

I've made it a personal mission of mine to really enjoy what's beautiful in life, and I think the uniqueness of the people and cultures--even within our own country-- is just really incredible.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is always oscillating. Enjoy the ride.
