I'm more or less born and raised in Gothenburg, off the west coast of Sweden. For the past year my curiosity brought me to live in Spain and Portugal, definitely drawn by the southern European lifestyle... Lisbon is where I decided to build a new home for myself. So currently in the midst of the gruelling but very exciting process of learning Portuguese.

Books - currently quite obsessed with Orhan Pamuk. Also Nawal El Saadawi, Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o, Arundhati Roy, Orwell, Henry Martinsson, Huxley, Roald Dahl, Astrid Lindgren, Selma Lagerlöf, Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg and all those greats.

Films - been watching quite a lot of films by Katsuhito Ishii lately. "The Taste of Tea" is a real gem.
Also Ingmar Bergman, Ruben Östlund and Roy Andersson to name some Swedish directors, off the back of my current fascination with Swedish film (which I was never very interested in whilst living in Sweden...)
