ABOUT ME

I have the travel bug - bad. I have been lucky to have travelled fairly widely on limited means as a university student but aim to travel much more! I want to see everywhere!
I love good conversations, art, good wine and laughing until my sides hurt. I love meeting new people and experiencing new and wonderful things. A beautiful view will stop me in my tracks.
I love winter and spend a lot of the Australian summer in other countries chasing the snow.
I also love literature, am a bit of an English nut and am always in the middle of a couple of books.
I am honest and pretty easy-going.
I teach English to Japanese and Korean students at an English college in Sydney part time and hold an Arts degree in English and History. I have just completed a Masters degree at the University of Sydney in English/History teaching and am now travelling Europe!

PHILOSOPHY

Every day is a great gift - too often we spend our lives caught up in the mundane. I like to take a breath and sit for a while, appreciating the little things. There are so many places all over the world that I need to see to better my understanding of who I am, and why people are the way they are. I love observing others and learning from experience rather than theory. I enjoy a good conversation more than anything - shown with respect and understanding. I LOVE LEARNING!

I have never been couch surfing but have met some pretty cool people staying with friends and they encouraged me to give it a go!

Skiing down a 10,000ft mountain in Lake Tahoe, CA with the desert on one side and the beautiful lake on the other! Breathtaking!
