About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life to the fullest. Life is a wondrous adventure. =D
ABOUT ME
I was working as a post-doc in San Francisco and am now between jobs, looking mostly in San Francisco but I'm open minded. Other than that, I'm an easy going guy who loves to meet new people and hear interesting stories, which is why I joined this site!
PHILOSOPHY
Everyone has their own path, their own story. We are each brought up in different environments and with different people, and as such everyone's experience is unique. I think that's pretty awesome, which is why I love hearing everyone's story and why I feel that life has an infinite reserve of things to experience, to do, and to learn.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have both hosted and couchsurfed at other people's places, and both experiences were great. I haven't yet gotten involved in any activities, but I'm definitely up to do any that interest me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had both respectful guests and respectful hosts. The very open-information policy of this site really helps with that, and I'm impressed.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a sponge, so I'll read whatever good suggestions come my way. I'll read anything from academic articles, to fiction, to philosophy. There's always more to learn out there, and it's wonderful.Movies I've recently seen:The Girl with the Dragon TattooLimitlessIn TimeTronMidnight in ParisTrue GritMusic:I'm almost always surrounded by music, and as such I'll listen to just about anything except for maybe country. I've recently been on an electronica, indie and classical fusion kick (sortof eclectic, but whatver suits my mood really), but I'm always up for any suggestions.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
If you've ever been running through the streets of a city with thousands of people on either side of you watching and cheering you, then you understand the adrenaline rush of a running race. I've only run a half-marathon, but I wanna eventually train up (after a few more half-marathons, of course) to the full.
Teach, Learn, Share
Heh I always know random facts or tidbits, and I can pretty much add to any conversation that I'm in, really. I like the idea of a rennassaince man, and as such do not shun any field of study, not matter how ridiculous.
