I went to art school and now write code, and I've done a lot of things in between.

Some day I want to build a house in a place with forests and seasons. Asheville seems like a nice place, but I'm undecided.

It's impossible to choose favorites, but some of the recent music I've listened to and/or seen: Yo La Tengo, Quilt, Mountain Goats, Black Angels, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Beck, Ty Segall, Neutral Milk Hotel, Goat, Rose Windows, Nick Drake, Johnny Cash, Golden Dawn Arkestra, the Melvins, Smashing Pumpkins, Sleep, Brian Jonestown Massacre.

Books: Almost everything from Kurt Vonnegut (whom I was fortunate enough to meet once!), especially Cat's Cradle. I've also really gotten into William Burroughs, Jack Kerouac, Chuck Palahniuk, Daniel Quinn, Michael Pollan, and David Sedaris. I'm currently reading Snow Crash and probably a dozen other books that I've started and haven't finished. Lots of non-fiction also.

Movies (directors): Kubrick, Tarantino, Kurosawa, Wes Anderson, Spike Lee, the Coen brothers, Jodorowsky, David Lynch, Terry Gilliam. Many others.

Shows: Currently watching Fargo

Food: I love just about everything. I will never turn down a good taco.
