Hello there! I am Emrah from Adana/Turkey. I am 39 years old married and I've got two handsome sons aged nine and five years old. I added their photos so you can check my family better :) . I am a sports reporter for a local newspaper in Adana. My job is quite excited and that gives me a possibility to meet up with differnet people and travel around the world. Since I'm new to the site, I can't predict what to write. Wish everyone to have a good trip and have fun. We (me and my family) also expect to become hosts for interesting people here in Adana.

I've spent many years in my professional music career. Not only during my education but also after the education I'd sung in plenty of groups as soloist in different cities. I also play the guitar. I usually sing cultural turkish folk and protest musics and I am interested in singing Anatolian rock. I may spend really valuable time with our hosts and sing together :)

I served in search and rescue department of the goverment for 8 years. I assigned to save people in 2 earthquakes. During the time I worked for the refugees who left their country due to the conflicts and civil wars.

I got trained for social media and online marketing and I've worked in plenty of firms and institutions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

because Travelling with my family is one of our biggest hobbiest. To have our cultural exchange is really good for the future of my kids and it makes to explore the languages easier for them . Also, we've been planning to move to Europe with my family and establish ourselves in Europe. Therefore, we have never experienced to see European cities, especially Germany. When I do researches on the internet, Couchsurfing was the most best formation I came across.. I hope we succeed and accumulating good memories in this community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2000, with my friend from the university, we visited the entire eastern anatolian region and the south eastern anatolian region in 15 days on a 3000 km long hitchhiking trip.
