I'm Emre from Istanbul & I'm a student living in Hamburg for a couple more months. Interested in making friends and meeting new people through couchsurfing. Willing to meet people visiting the city to hear about their experiences. Open to hosting people as well but I've never done it before so a good conversation to build some trust would be nice haha.

I'd also like to travel myself if I can arrange it in the future. Having hosts through couchsurfing would be a great way to learn about the place from a local & it'd be a great way to get some local tips. (It would also help cut the costs so I'd be very grateful for your hospitality 😄)

I'm interested in hearing about differences in lifestyles for people that live in different places, it's a great way to learn about the cultures of countries and areas.

Hearing about the city I'm in, fun facts etc. are also great.

If the person I'm talking to is really passionate about something I like to talk with them about it and ask questions to learn about their passion and why they like it so much.

I enjoy hearing travel stories as well, and discussing the cities I've been to with other people.

Well this is a bit tough...

I do have quite a lot of favorites but I guess I have to put something in here so it's not so empty.

I would say I'm more into series than movies since they tend to last longer and you grt to spend more time with the characters. Recently binged bojack horseman which was amazing!!

I really enjoy dystopian novels, also fantasy & thrillers.

Music, I think I'd say rock, metal, altrock, punk mostly.

I love movies that try to do different things and surprise you, but at the same time I can like a movie just because I love one part of it (soundtrack, acting, directing etc.) but of course you'd rather have one where you'd love all of them at once haha.

I love to hear about a country from different people, as their perspectives are not the same, it gives you a clearer idea of the life in that country. I also think that it makes it more special to hear things from a local instead of a tourist guide.

Cooking is not something I'm proud of (yet) but I can try to make some dishes if you have the courage to try them 😂
