Overview
About Me
Hi, I’m Emre, a friendly and curious soul based in Amsterdam and Hoogkarspel, Netherlands! 🌍 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 2013 and have had the privilege of working and living in different countries. I started my career as a mathematician, teaching at international schools for 3 years before moving to the Netherlands in 2017.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me exploring the hidden gems of this beautiful city, having deep conversations about life, or experimenting in the kitchen (yes, I love to cook!). Whether it’s a spontaneous adventure or a cozy night in, I’m all about creating meaningful connections and sharing authentic experiences.
Why Host With Me?
🏠 A welcoming space to rest and recharge.
🥘 A chance to try my homemade dishes and exchange recipes.
🎭 Stories, laughter, and maybe even a few math puzzles (if you’re up for it!).

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I enjoy a bit of everything—pop, jazz, and even instrumental music for relaxing evenings.
Books: My favorite reads range from thought-provoking novels to personal development books. Ask me about my current read!
Movies: I’m drawn to films that touch the heart, tell unique stories, or make you laugh till your stomach hurts.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing experiences I’ve had was moving abroad to teach mathematics in international schools. The chance to live in new countries and immerse myself in different cultures completely changed my perspective on life. It’s a journey I’ll always treasure.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some cool math tricks (though I don't recommend this 😬) or share my favorite recipes. I'm always eager to learn about new cultures, languages, and unique perspectives. Together, we can share stories, laugh about life's quirks, and discover the beauty of human connections..
