Overview
About Me
🌍 Hey there! I’m Emre — a digital nomad who’s visited 12 countries and finally decided to slow down a bit in Alaçatı, İzmir.
I’m not looking for a couch — I’m offering one 🙂
I’ve had amazing hosts in the past, now it’s my turn to give back.
I live in a peaceful home with a pool, a chill vibe, and strong coffee always ready.
If you enjoy long conversations, sunsets, music (I'm learning drums 🥁), or just sharing travel stories, you’re welcome here.
I respect space and boundaries, but if you’re the kind of person who appreciates connection and laughter, we’ll probably get along great.
Let’s make this summer less about scrolling, more about real connection.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve been lucky to meet amazing people during my travels in 12 countries. Now that I’m settled in Alaçatı for a while, I’d love to give back by hosting others — and hopefully have good conversations, shared meals, and moments worth remembering.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything that either calms the mind or messes with it in a beautiful way.
From Pink Floyd and Massive Attack to Lofi jazz and the occasional dark techno when I'm overthinking.
(Yes, my playlists are a mood swing.)
Psychological thrillers, layered characters, slow-burn tension.
Favorites: The Father, Her, Prisoners, Black Swan, Mr. Nobody, Gone Girl.
I like films that leave me slightly broken but thinking for days.
I love books that dissect the human mind.
Favorites:
Man’s Search for Meaning (Frankl),
The Road Less Traveled (Peck),
Thinking, Fast and Slow (Kahneman),
The Drama of the Gifted Child (Alice Miller).
If it hurts a bit and reveals something — I’m in.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I left everything behind in a big city and moved to a quiet town by the sea to rebuild my life — not because I had to, but because I finally chose to.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach
How to run Meta ads and build an online business (in a chill, zero-jargon way).
Also happy to share what I've learned about mindset, minimalism, and surviving existential crises with humor 😄
I want to learn
New perspectives, deep questions, simple recipes, music theory, and how not to overthink everything at 2 AM.
I can share
A peaceful home, good food, random playlists, meaningful conversation, and some silence too — if you're into that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A calm space with good energy. A private room, fresh sheets, strong coffee in the morning, and an open vibe for real conversation.
I can share stories, meals, music, local tips — or silence, if that’s what you need.
My place has a pool. That helps too 😄
