Hello!

We are Alba and Enric, a spanish couple who live in the countryside near Barcelona.

Alba is a qualified kindergarten teacher and Enric is one year away from graduating my Environmental Engineering degree. We have both worked in the local scouting group, with which we have had the chance, over the years, to visit different eco-villages around Spain, and learn a bit about permaculture.
We would like to learn more and gain perspective on different paths towards sustainability.
We're also sociable and love meeting new people, exchanging stories and learning mutually from people and places.

We also love playing board games, we travel with Catan in our backpack!

We're not smokers nor do we party very much, so expect quite calm individuals, although we will probably share a lot of laughs and have great conversations!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Every summer we volunteer in different sustainable and eco projects around the world, through Workaway, but we like to spend some days before and after in the country, sightseeing and trying new things, so that's why we use Coachsurfing. It is a great alternative to hostelling, where we get the chance to meet local people and be a small part of their lives. We love learning from people and Coachsurfing is a great way to do so.

Music, Movies, and Books

We listen to all kinds of music and are more into series than movies at the moment (such as GoT, Breaking Bad, Cable Girls, Vikings and so on.. ). Favourite movie would have to be The Return of The King, Atonment and On Time.

Our favourite sagas and books are Harry Potter, The Kingkiller Chronicles, GoT, His Dark Materials and The Guilty Feminist.
