ABOUT ME

Traveling and music are two of my biggest passions! I've been fortunate enough to travel around Australia, some of southern Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia), New Zealand, and parts of Africa (Mostly in Tanzania).

I just finished my last semester of classes at Eastern Michigan University. I'm a Vocal Music Education Major and hope to become a High School Choral Director. I still have to student teach in the fall, and will graduate in December.

This summer (from May 12th through July 2nd) I'll be traveling around Europe. My first month is mostly figured out, but from the beginning of June through July 2nd I just plan to go where the wind blows me!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm participating in the CS project by traveling and hopefully finding some couches to sleep on! I'll be traveling mostly by myself, and hope to find some cool people to put me up and show me around.

In the future I plan to offer my couch to travelers also!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have any couch surfing experience. But there is a first time for everything (or so they say)!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almost all music.. and I'm willing to listen to anything. The music that I enjoy listening to the most is probably Rock, easy listening, alternative, etc.
My favorite artist is John Mayer, and my favorite band is Guster.

I love the Harry Potter books but hate the movies... they ruin my imagination!
I like adventure, suspense, thrillers, and science fiction. I'd say most of the books I read are fiction. My favorite book is probably "The Time Travelers Wife"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've seen was in Australia. I was touring around Alice Springs and a group that I was with went to this Place called Kings Canyon (I think). We went on this awesome hike to a place called the Garden of Eden. A million words couldn't describe its beauty.

Everything! Even stuff that I already know I want to know better! From local cultures and customs to how to make a Kebab.
