ABOUT ME

I (Emily) love to travel..I just decided the other day its my number one goal. That's big, because I'm also a musician and singer/songwriter which is one of my other greatest loves but I feel like a life without travel would incomplete! Stephen (Stevo) is an idea man. He's always coming up with things to invent and ways to make things better, whether it be through inventing new energy sources to a better political system. Mainly though he believes in living in the moment and friends.."this is what life's all about" - Stephen

PHILOSOPHY

Emily is "still working on that" and Stephen wants to leave a positive legacy on Earth through his actions and make a difference, he also values love and friendship the most.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're just starting...We are planning to travel at the end of the summer and hoping to surf but also would love to meet up with visitors to our area and show them a good time. We live right in downtown St. Petersburg Fl and are walking distance away from a tun of bars and restaurants and also are right next to the bay and really close to the beach. We might Host fully in the future but since we are new we are starting slowly and gonna feel it out... : )

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Ok I think our music taste is pretty decent, but we are totally nerds as far as movies are concerned LOL...Emily likes Jason Mraz, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Fiona Apple, Lily Allen, Regina Spektor, Infinite Groove Orchestra (a local Tampa Fl jazz, fusion electronic experimental band...amazing!), Jazz, Blues, etc... For Shows and Movies, Emily likes crap tv like sex in the city and desperate housewives, and also G lee (which is actually pretty good!), and BBC's Merlin and Doctor Who! And we both watch Star Trek LOL : ) Also, just to make things short, let's just say may two favorite books are Harry Potter and Viktor E. Frankl's book, "Man's Search for Meaning." OH and Brave New World of course...

Stephen likes all music... except country... but favorites include, blues, dub step, BTBM!, opera, jazz, Folk, Jam, drum circles... pretty much anything that you can dance to. My bookshelves are filled with literature from Plato to Marquis de Sade to C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien to Chuck Palahniuk and Mark Z. Danielewski; political topics from history to investigative reports to drugs; religious holy books from Koran to Kahlil Gibran to the Bible and Torah to Lao Tzu; and philosophy from Daniel Dennet to Craig Venture. I love movies, but I tend to make fun of cultural idioms ala Mystery Science Theater 3000. :)

Stephen - A family of dolphins hunting, and the calves learning how to jump. :)
