CURRENT MISSION Leaving the world a little better than I found it ABOUT ME At my core, I am a humanitarian. Nothing brings me joy more than helping people, regardless of what it is. I also am a musician. I love all kinds of music and love discovering new artists. I hope someday to teach in impoverished inner-city schools. Traveling has become a bit of an addiction for me and I'm already jonesing for my next trip. I'm extremely sarcastic and love laughing. I like being outside and wish I got to be there more. I love reading and usually base my book selections off of the favorite books of my friends. I believe anything can be the best adventure of your life as long as you have a good friend to do it with you. PHILOSOPHY My mom told me growing up that if you cook in someone's kitchen, sleep on someone's couch, or plant in someone's garden, you should always leave that area a little cleaner than you found it. I believe we should leave the world a little bit better than we found it.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I can't host at the moment but I would love to in the future. I have quite the travel bug and part of that for me is just meeting people from other countries and ways of life. I also think that we never see enough of where we live so this could be a way for me to appreciate my hometown. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE None yet

One Amazing Thing I've Done
I spent the night wet and cold lost on a mountain with four new friends after we took the wrong trail in the Appalachians. It was the best night of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to know why music is valuable. I believe it is valuable with every fiber of my being, but can't seem to find an answer to the question. Why do humans seem to need music? As for what I can offer, I'm a decent music teacher and I can make a [shot] glass out of a piece of magazine paper.
