HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting, surfing, activities... there’s a lot to do here. What’s your favorite way to get involved?I enjoy hosting a lot and this summer I'll hopefully taste surfing as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

What kinds of experiences have you had through CouchSurfing?I've met couchsurfers through other couchsurfers years before I actually signed up...and last year i finally decided to join the community to broaden my horizons!

Interessen

What do you like to do in your free time?I never know how to fill these sections and avoid cliches, but hey people generally do similar stuff with their free time, right? - hobbies, interests, philophy, etcetera ... Well, okey, okey, want to know a secret? I like ...*whispering* travelling, masticating palatable food (I'll be forever grateful if you cook me a nice meal), having a good laugh, and I wouldn't say no to a crazy offer cuz what i'm not interested in is observing conventionalities!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

What do you like to watch, read, and listen to?I mostly listen to a wide range of electronic styles - lounge, downtempo, drumandbass, house, triphop, etc.When I have to choose a book to read I generally trust classics, some of my favourite writers are Oscar Wilde, James Joyce, D.H.Lawrence. I also like sagas - Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. An unusual choice is Sandra Brown because she writes cheesy romances (and lately thrillers) but I simply loved Thursday's Child, no idea why, maybe because I'm a terrible romantic. and movies - I'm quite choosy, I enjoy films by certain directors (Almodovar, Wong Kar Wai, Kum Ki Duk, Aranofsky and many more). I also follow the career of certain actors/actresses.and American TV series

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Share a story of something that really struck you.Wow, this is hard. Things strike me all the time but I cannot think of anything right now - some images and feelings float in my mind but not words. I'm a much better listener than a story teller. It depends. But just off the top of my head - nada.
