ABOUT ME
I'm a first year master's student at the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management, specializing in Conservation Planning. I spend a lot of time in the lab but I try to get out when I can, and I'm always up for some good conversation.
PHILOSOPHY
I am a part of all that I have met - Alfred Lord Tennyson
Think like a man of action, act like a man of thought - Henri Louis Bergson
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am available to host and will be looking for couches in the future, definitely.
Interests
I am always up for new experiences, whether that is hiking, kayaking, traveling, canoeing, whatever! Some of my favorite past times tend to be having a few drinks with some good friends and conversation, and knitting, usually not at the same time.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a big music fan and have some varied tastes depending on my mood, but some of my favorites are: Pixies, Neutral Milk Hotel, Alkaline Trio, Bright Eyes, The Dresden Dolls, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!, Silversun Pickups, Nekromantix, etc.
Some favorite movies: Trainspotting, SLC Punk, I Heart Huckabees, Charlie Kaufman and Coen Brothers films, Office Space, and any really bad old horror movie.
Books: A Clockwork Orange, Fahrenheit 451, Cry, the Beloved Country, To Kill A Mockingbird...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my favorite experiences has been spending a week canoeing upstream along the Colorado River to the Hoover Dam, finding swimming holes, caves, hiking, bouldering, hot springs, and hot waterfalls along the way! Beautiful trip with some great people
