About Me

I am a self-employed individual who loves to travel and learn. My traveling adventure started at the early ages with my parents. We used to take road trips and go camping as much as possible. Since then, it has been a life style for me and I have visited over 30 countries and lived in Europe for 3 years. Currently, I live in California with my wife.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To host and get to know interesting people.

Interests

Besides traveling, I like jogging, hiking, swimming and reading. Music is an essence in my life. I also like to talk about movies, art & culture and current international topics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life itself is amazing and everything that I do and share with other people seems amazing to me. Climbing to a peak to see the beautiful Borobudur Temple with my wife on Java island or wandering around the old city of Jerusalem or having a glass of tea by the Bosphorus in Istanbul or being on a road trip in South America with friends are some of the amazing things that I have done in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to share experinces and talk about different cultures and countries. Experience matters more when it is shared. Likewise, learning is the key motivation on my trips. I like to learn from other people's experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Currently, me and my wife share our house with another couple. Therefore, hosting couch surfers for an over night stay might not be possible all the time. However, they can always come over for a cuppa tea/coffee and ask information about places that I have visited or San Diego. I will be more than happy to help a fellow traveler.
