Hi! I'm Enette and I'm 24 years old. I'm a Filipino, interning at Yale PET Center. I am a very tiny person, around 5 feet. I did my Bachelor's degree in the Philippines then I went to live in Taiwan for almost three years for my Master's degree. I love meeting with new and different people, especially learning their tradition. It's something I always ask whenever I meet someone new.

So I'm quite a bit of a nerd when it comes to Harry Potter and How To Get Away with Murder and Nicholas Sparks. I love talking about them and I can stay awake for hours just talking endlessly regarding those things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to find places I can stay with all the while meeting with different and kind people who can help me tour around the place. I want to travel as much as I can and I want to maximize my time as much as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a semi-old soul. I grew up with a sister who's 10-year older than me so I'm very much a fan of boy bands! Westlife, A1, Backstreet Boys, anything related to them. Though right now my favourite song is Love You Like the Movies by Anthem Lights. I'm also very fond of bands like The Cab, A Rocket To the Moon and such.

Favourite Movies... I love Amanad Seyfried so anything that has her in it. Letters To Juliet is my ultimate favourite because it makes me feel better whenever I watch it. I also love Nicholas Sparks movies! And anything sci-fi because I've been around the scientific community ever since my undergraduate time. Harry Potter movies forever!

Favourite Books... I love Nicholas Sparks! Hands-down, my favourite author of all time. I have all his books! I have a wide range of authors I also like since I love reading so much. Let's not forget Harry Potter books, of course!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say the one amazing thing I've done is taking my chance on emailing the Director of the Yale PET Center and asking if they have an available position for a student intern. They said yes and I got accepted as an intern. I'm currently here and very much enjoying my time!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very friendly and nice person. I am very clean, too, and considerate with the people I'm with. I can share tons of stories about Harry Potter and How to get away with murder theories/stories. I can talk for hours about those!
