I've had a great experience with CS as a means of making new friends after moving to Istanbul. It seems that a game of table tennis can quickly escalate to an international flat party, or a chance meeting lead to lasting friendships. Now I'm on Couchsurfing to spread the love by sharing the delights of Istanbul with travellers or newbies, and to explore new places whenever I'm on the road.

I would love to host/meet open-minded people with different interests. Always looking to learn about different backgrounds, cultures and people - knowledge is priceless! I learned , I taught,I shared. I loved to be a part of it.I also think that CS helps of melting the Icebergs between nations, breaking the prejudices and any other cultural shocks which comes from history.Hopefully, It is going to keep working for the sake of humanity and peace of nations.

I think it is a great way to travel and to meet locals, a good way not to follow the basic tourist path while visiting a city! I would be more than happy to show you the place I like.

Of course travelling but but the best is if i can combine it with my interests such as historical trip, meet as much local as possible, collecting. If possible; mountain sports, snowboarding.
