Overview
About Me
I am a Dutch woman in my 30's. Emigrated to Slovakia nearly a decade ago. Me and my husband now have a large house with garden, and would love to have guests sonetimes to exchange stories with. Also we would like to try surfing ourselves when we travel.
My friends would say I am independent but stubborn. That I love to travel and am not afraid of making changes or choises in life.
My husband is a German native, but we both speak the language.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To surf and host, both equally interested. I would like to show this place to see its beauty through my eyes. And when travelling I would like to avoid being only a tourist, but to see it also from inside a bit.
Interests
I have a lot of intrests and hobby's: Music, gardening, handycrafts with wool, languages, filosophy, skiing, nature, hiking, swimming, travelling of course, and a lot of things I am probably forgetting right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hosting volunteers this year summer was inspiring, lead to couchsurfing. Before that I made a friend a continent away, that gave me a lot.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an English teacher, but stays will be short for learning language. I can adjust my languages to a beginner, but I really enjoy in-depth conversations on a variety of subjects ranging from abstract philosophical to historic or academic. Sharing thoughts. And drinks maybe 🙂
What I Can Share with Hosts
Openness. Interest. But also space if you are busy. I would try to be tidy
