ABOUT ME

I love learning, which is why I like meeting and chatting with people. But sometimes my introverted nature takes over and I avoid a few parties. This dichotomy puzzles some people; hence my CS name. However, I'm always more than willing to share my time and effort when someone needs a hand.

Always up for a coffee and a chat, to share new experiences... especially if a walk or hike is involved.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Enjoyed a few get-togethers. Needless to say the best part is when the stories from faraway lands come out. Surfed a couple of times. Have gone for coffee a few times.

Interests

o photography - a hobby: one day I'll take a course...
o linguistics - not good at it, but fascinated by language
o many sciences - especially "Natural Sciences" (biology, chemistry, physics, etc.)
nature = walking/hiking, the names of wild plants--especially the plants you can eat!

Music: panpipe; music of the Andes, some classical; I like songs that tell a (interesting or funny) story

Books: mostly textbooks (medical biology, electronics, magazine articles about latest technology like solar power, electronic ink, Solid State hard drives). Also science fiction.
