I'm from the NOLA (New Orleans, Louisiana) that strange southern town that isn't so southern. Recently graduated university and now I'm teaching and living outside of the US for the first time in my 23 years. I'm a closet introvert, preferring to just chill with a good book, but I can do that extrovert thang and hang at a bar just drinking a beer, enjoying music, too.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

To meet other people and explore their new or old homes through their eyes! This is the first time I've been out of the US, so I'm an international travel newbie. I have never couch surfed with strangers before or hosted. One of the teachers here at my school told me about couch surfing and it's an interesting concept.
There is nothing better than to learn about a new place from someone who has been there all their life or is a transplant. Those are the people who know the non-touristy attractions and show you the genuine essence of the places. That is what I want to experience and hopefully one day share my own couch with people too!
