I love lists, so I'll list some random things from my life to give you a glimpse of what I am made of! Here it goes:
trees, steppe, liberal arts, friends, yuzu, fro-yo, bread, naoshima, seto inland sea, travelling, ice-cream, singing, grizzly bear, christmas lights, indoor plants, tadao ando, hostels, nature essays, creative non-fiction, wooden tables, tapestries, pineapple juice, lychee, banana bread, instant noodles, buuz, baklava, folk dancing, peep show, portable instruments, walla walla, japanese, ale, pumpkin pancakes, walking, conversation, milk tea, being lost, the smell of larch forests, sunny days and long nights;

PHILOSOPHY

There are many good things that I'd ideally like to apply to my life. Some of them are:
-to be more generous, because I know I can't give as much as I would like to or as much as I should.
-to use less, because less is more

I also like this quote by Vincent van Gogh:
"What am I in the eyes of most people — a nonentity, an eccentric, or an unpleasant person — somebody who has no position in society and will never have; in short, the lowest of the low. All right, then — even if that were absolutely true, then I should one day like to show by my work what such an eccentric, such a nobody, has in his heart."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much, but I've met some really nice people so far. I'm looking forward to do some surfing.
