About Me

I have a soul of an explorer and dreamer and I love to travel and experience the beauty around the world. I am fascinated by the human nature, art and culture and long to see the marvels of Nature. I find the passing relationships with interesting people the essence of life and am deeply touched by the stunning scenerys of the Earth. I also enjoy action-packed and presumable dangerous sports.

I don't enjoy partying, drinking or hanging around in noisy places but prefer silence and profound conversation. If you feel the same, we might have something to give to each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To explore the world, life and the human nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer classical music, especially string instruments but, occasionally, listen to some lighter too (hard rock mostly but not too hard...). I do love literature and enjoy classics as well as fantasy and crime novels.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My time, thoughts and home where I live with three sons of mine (from 11 to 16 years). I might be able to show you around, too, depending on the time of the year and my schedule. You are welcome to have breakfast and tea but I am no cook so, on that regard, you are on your own! :D If you want to use my kitchen though, I'm fine with that (the shop is only half a kilometre away). This is more or less a self-service place, anyway.

I have a couch in the livingroom that you can make into a bed for two. It does creak occasionally so be prepared!

The bus service is pretty neat, the bus stop is only a hundred metres from the house and it takes you to Tampere in half an hour, costing 5 euros one way. There are not that many shifts though, so you might find using Nokia bus station / train station (the train being 3 euros one way) easier. I can pick you up from there, its about three kilometres away from here.
