I love to explore places and prefer to take the roads less traveled and meet new people. I like to travel solo as it gives me a lot of opportunities to meet different people and learn from them and myself too. To me gathering varied experiences and memories is more valuable than gathering monetary wealth. I like to help people wherever I am able to. Although I don't know about a lot of things, I like to be a part of things that would help me grow mentally or spiritually, in some way or the other, as I believe through mistakes one can get better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I love to travel, many of the friends I've made along the way, have recommended that, I too, should become a member of Couchsurfing, so here I am. On the other hand I like the idea of meeting new people with varied interests and stories to share as these small things are valuable and enriching to me, what better way to combine my love of travelling and spending quality time sharing experiences with so many interesting people on this platform!!

Interests

Travelling, exploring around, being around animals especially dogs and horses, getting into nature and outdoors as much as possible, hiking and trekking, not a good dancer but i love to dance, getting into deep conversations, swimming, watching a lot of movies and documentaries, reading a few books, learning new things as much as possible, gathering newer experiences as I believe you don't always need a lot of money to get them, riding bikes, meeting and spending time with the locals of the places i visit and learning from them, though am a rookie in photography, i love to take pictures, although the best moments or sights in my life I could never capture it in a frame and they are embedded in my memories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungy jumped and canyon swing from off a suspension bridge in Nepal (@ 162 mtrs). There are quite a few more simple, yet amazing things I've done and seen but I will leave it for later when we meet someday ! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe learning is a never-ending process and this life-time is too short for learning everything. I learn something from everyone who crosses my path, as I believe it is for a reason too. I volunteered to teach spoken English to a group of under-privileged students in Mumbai. I love to share experiences. Currently in Germany i volunteer to distribute food to homeless and unemployed people, as I like to give back in whatever way I can. I also believe in the sustainable practices of conserving our nature and our home - Mother Earth and try to learn more about it and teach its methods and practices to the people who are ignorant of the same.
