Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To visit every country on earth and learn as many languages as possible. It's there to be seen.
ABOUT ME
I'm a bit weird but in a good way. I love foreign languages and cultures and am studying German, Russian and Dutch at university as a mature student. I love travelling but I have M.E. so I'm not exactly the life and soul of the party! I'm tolerant, open-minded, liberal, colourful and amiable. I'm a vegetarian who loves cats. I write a lot of poetry. I built my own house, which is why I went to university late.
PHILOSOPHY
I live to see the world. My philosophy is you only get out of life what you put in.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I generally travel to practice the languages I speak. I've just joined CS so I can't say much on how I participate yet. I'm hoping to stay with foreigners for a few days here and there to practice languages and exchange cultural nuances!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet apart from student stayovers!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - rock, punk, reggae, folk. Movies - foreign, comedy, unHollywoodesque, unusual. My faves are El Orfanto, Let the right one in and Superbad. Books - I love Harry Potter, but also classical literarure, especially Russian.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved out of the house I built with my long-term partner temporarily to go back to university. I miss him and my cats so much, but it will be worth it.
