Overview
About Me
From the old CS profile - my mission: to learn, then to build and change the world. Perspectives from my younger self were definitely much more idealistic.
Chronic overthinker. Have been told I am funny, fat, generous & ridiculous at times. On (what I hope) is the final year of my phd and not looking forward to finally ending student life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like meeting new people. Sharing conversations. Also, when you're telling new people about cool stuff that you've done, you sound less narcissistic than when telling your old buddies. I have hosted only once or twice but have had the great fortune to encounter many great hosts. Looking forward to meeting more.
Interests
food (particular liking for potatoes, turnips & meat). video games (poe, dota2, lol - mostly pc stuff). nature (walks are great). play some football here and there.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like sappy old school music - typically the singers that sound like their lives are the saddest. radiohead, coldplay and onerepublic work too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
wake up. to feel the dread and drudge of the mundane but yet appreciate life for what it is. i think many of us forget life in itself is the greatest gift.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a theory for everything. I hope you do too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories. I am very willing to share their food with them as well. (:
